We make a lot of sensible improvements on these bikes.
We don't change the looks and sound of the Commando because that is already Perfect.

 

Brakes
	Full floating Brembo disc at the front wheel. This improves braking dramatically, but it does not disturb the classic look of the bike. For Commando 850 MK3 a matching Brembo full floating rear disc set.
Gearbox
	Quaife 5 speed gear cluster. Race proven technology.
Engine
	Black Diamond valves with titanium top collars. High quality Andover Norton steel nitrided camshaft.
	Carrillo conrods & dynamic balanced crankshaft.
Electrics
	Modern wiring, electronic ignition, high output charging system, heavy duty electric starter (850 MK3 model).
Tires
	Dual compound Bridgestone Battlax tires. Perfect cornering combined with long mileage.
Frame & suspension
	Improved frame (Thruxton reinforcement and swing arm spindle modification), Roadholder forks, fully adjustable IKON rear shocks.
	Improved headsteady for optimal roadholding.
Finishing touch
	Almost all bolts & nuts and lots of other parts (exhaust silencers, air-filter, licenseplate holder, spokes, handlebar etc.) in stainless steel. Beautiful durable paintwork and of course highly polished aluminium parts.
